SPIRITUAL LEADERS

Our Spiritual Leaders are called to guide, nurture, and strengthen the church in faith and truth. Through their dedication to God’s Word and servant leadership, they provide spiritual direction, mentorship, and support to the congregation.

With a heart for both the church and the community, they play a vital role in building unity, inspiring growth, and leading F.A.A.C. in its mission to serve God with integrity and purpose.

MEET OUR SPIRITUAL LEADERS

Archbishop
Samuel Tau

He was a co-founder of the church and was ordained as the first Archbishop of FAAC.
In his role, he provided foundational spiritual leadership and guidance, and was supported in his duties by Bishop Martins Tau.

Archbishop
Mateo Fenyane

He was ordained as the second Archbishop of FAAC and was supported in his duties by Bishop Petrus Lekoana.
During his leadership, the church achieved important milestones, including its official legal registration in 2007 and the drafting of a church constitution to serve as a guiding document.
He also made history as the first Archbishop of FAAC to relinquish his title while still alive, appointing Bishop Petros Lekoana as his successor in 2018.

Petrus Lekoana

He joined the church in 1994 as an ordinary member and faithfully progressed through all levels of leadership, serving as an evangelist, pastor, and bishop before being ordained as the third Archbishop of FAAC in 2018.
In his role, he is supported by Bishop John Magaba and Bishop Elias Phala. Known for his relatable leadership style, particularly his connection with the youth, he has played a key role in modernising the church’s structures.
Under his leadership, the church was registered as an NPO in 2018, a formal youth structure was established in 2019, and church programmes such as Bible readers and programme directors were formalised from 2020. He also presided over the construction and official opening of the church headquarters in 2025.
