A Journey Through Our Church’s Milestones

Since our establishment, we have been dedicated to serving our community and nurturing faith. Each key moment in our timeline marks the growth and transformation of our parish, highlighting our commitment to the spiritual and social well-being of our members. We are proud to share these milestones that connect our rich history with our vibrant presence.

1985 - F.A.A.C. was Founded

Founded by Pastors Daniel Mankge, Samuel Tau and evangelist Elias Magaba. The church was established with a strong Apostolic foundation and vision for growth. Pastor Daniel Mankge became the first chairperson of the church, until he passed on in the year 2011.

1985 – Early Years

Pastor Samuel Tau was then ordained to be the first Archbishop of the church. He was supported in his role by Bishop Martins Tau.
The church forms its first administrative structures, including a Chairperson and Secretary, to manage church affairs.
Andries Mashego was the founding secretary of the church and had to double-up to serve as the treasurer as well.
Meshack Thobejane became the firts deputy secretary of the church.
Simon Lekwana later took over the duty of treasurer from Andries Mashego and later he also stepped down as secretary and Winny Malapane became the secretary of the church.

2011

The founding Chairperson, Daniel Mankge, passes on. Phillemon Lekwana took over from Pastor Daniel Mankge to be second chairperson. Leadership transitions as the church continues to grow and remain grounded in its founding vision.

2018

The church was officially registered as a Non-Profit Organisation, marking an important step in formalising the church’s legal and organisational structure.

2019

The F.A.A.C. Youth League is formally established, focusing on youth development and active involvement in church life.

2024

A new Executive Committee is elected, strengthening governance and preparing the church for its next phase of growth.

2025

A major milestone is reached as F.A.A.C. officially opens its church headquarters on 18 October 2025, celebrating 40 years of faith, unity, and perseverance.
